Important New Federal PEP Grant Announced
Applications available soon for the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP)
Grant. * Click here for updates.
This annual $30 Million federal grant has been used successfully to win large grants
($300k, average size) to help improve physical fitness in schools.
Last year, schools in Alaska, Oregon and Washington won over $2.7 million in PEP grants,
which were used to improve children’s fitness and to purchase playground equipment.
Gametime’s unique Play-On! Fitness Curriculum is standards-based, with over 100
possible fitness activities on your playground. Your equipment not only is great for recess,
but will also become an integral part of the PE curriculum.
Play-On! was developed specifically in response to the NASPE (National Association of
School Physical Education) fitness standards.
Ten unique playground systems utilize the Play-On! program curriculum, so that each school
can have a different set of play opportunities, yet still meet standards.
If your school or district is interested in turning your new playground equipment
